Sunday, September 28th, 2008Angel Food Ministries at Brockport Free Methodist Church is available to anyone. There are no income guidelines or requirements.
Monthly cost of food box is $30 and and orders must be paid for with cash, Money Order, or Food Stamps
(card holder must place the order in person).
There will be a copy of the current monthly menu and instructions on the Missions Bulletin board

FOOD SHELF: The Food Shelf is collecting food for the Holiday baskets only in
October. They are going to do one huge basket for the two Holidays (Thanksgiving
and Christmas) which clients will receive just before Thanksgiving. The items needed
most are as follows: boxed potatoes, yams, boxed stuffing for turkey, cornbread or
quickbread, canned gravy (turkey or chicken), pudding fruit cocktail, evaporated milk.
Please help support the holiday baskets by bringing a different item each Sunday in
October and place on table by back door. Any food donated after Nov. 2nd will not
go in the baskets. It will be added to the shelf for regular distribution. Thank you for
your help with this project.
World Mission Offering is next Sunday, October 5th.
Our church is responsible for staffing the Clothing Shelf in October. Please check the
sign-up sheet in the foyer to find a date that you are free to help with this project. If you have not done this before, partner with someone that has and join in this outreach effort.
It’s College Box time! Our college students are back in school and it is time to let
them know we are thinking of them. Please give donations and student addresses
to Sue Carter. I would like to send them in mid-October so any support would be
greatly appreciated!
